Public consultation dates
These guidelines are open for public comment from the period of 4 July to 4 August 2011
Comments on this draft must be submitted by 5pm on 4 August 2011 to be considered for the first revision. However, these guidelines are going to be updated regularly and it is possible to submit a comment on an ongoing basis.
How to make a comment
When submitting comments the following information is essential to enable Cancer Council Australia to fully consider the issues raised.

Please include your name, organisation (if applicable) and contact details including e-mail address to enable us to contact you if we need to clarify your comments.
How to comment on the content of the guidelines
- If you have identified any gaps or errors in the content please suggest suitable text for inclusion.
- Statements regarding the inclusion/exclusion of issues should be clearly supported by scientific evidence. Copies of the references should be provided for consideration. It is not appropriate to provide copies of books, reports and other publications without specifically outlining the relevance of the material provided to the consultation document.
- It may be necessary for Cancer Council Australia to request additional copies of books or publications, to ensure all members have the opportunity to review the material provided.
Comments on language and teminology and other
- If you have comments on the language and terminology of the guidelines please provide suggested replacement text.
- Please provide any additional comments on the guidelines.
- The Working Party would appreciate suggestions for future research.
How we respond to comments and what we won't accept
How we respond to comments:
- All comments will be reviewed by the Manager, Clinical Guidelines Network Cancer Council Australia. Inappropriate comments may be removed. Minor changes (e.g. correcting a typographical error) may be made immediately.
- At the end of the consultation period all relevant comments will be reviewed by the Endometrial Cancer Working Party.
- Relevant comments and the Working Party’s response will be published on this Wiki with the final Guidelines.
- Cancer Council Australia reserves the right to summarise and edit comments received during consultation, or not to publish them at all, where in reasonable opinion of Cancer Council Australia, the comments are voluminous, publication would be unlawful or publication would be otherwise inappropriate.
We are unable to accept:
- Comments that are not made using the Wiki ‘Make a comment’ function
- Confidential information or personal medical information about yourself or another person from which your or the other person’s identity could be ascertained.
