About this chapter
The UV chapter of the National Cancer Prevention Policy was developed in 2010 and 2011 by Cancer Council Australia's Skin Cancer Committee, a subcommittee of its principal Public Health Committee. The chapter was reviewed externally by A/Professor Peter Foley, Chairman of the Australasian College of Dermatologists' Scientific Advisory Committee, and Professor Bruce Armstrong, clinical epidemiologist and cancer researcher at the University of Sydney. It is updated as significant new literature is published or changes in the policy environment occur.
