Cryopreservation of testicular tissue before puberty
Testicular tissue biopsy samples from prepubertal boys have been cryopreserved in the expectation of successful future transplantation of spermatogonial stem cells. This is an investigational procedure that so far has not been successfully applied to humans. It should only be considered in the context of an HREC approved clinical trial.
