Skin Cancer Statistics and Issues:About

From Skin Cancer Statistics and Issues

Cancer Council Victoria has compiled a comprehensive review of the data and major issues in skin cancer prevention and health in Australia. The publication is funded by Cancer Council Australia through the National Skin Cancer Committee.

This work has been produced with the objective of presenting the most current data relating to skin cancer prevention in the one online location and to ultimately contribute to a reduction in skin cancer death and disease. It is intended to be a live document, that will be continually updated with the lastest data available.

Each chapter has been reviewed by an expert in the field. Much of the content has been derived from other published sources and these have be quoted where appropriate. Editors and reviewers of this work have tried to ensure that the text is free from errors or inconsistencies. Please notify Cancer Council Australia if you become aware of matters in the text that require correction.
